I’m tipsy again.

I wanted to compose
a decadent ode
to altered states,
so I went looking
for some prolific
artwork
to accompany it.

Instead, I found this.
'Ninja Chicken also
drinks too much.'

I can’t help but wonder.
Without opposable thumbs,
how does our feathery
hero tie his mask?
Obviously, someone does
it for him.
Not much of a Ninja now,
is he?

Small wonder why he drinks.
